On July 2, 2021 the cities of Hattiesburg and Petal will come together for a celebration of our country’s birthday with a fabulous fireworks display over the Leaf River in Forrest County. Music and activities will take place at Chain Park in Hattiesburg and Petal River Park in Petal. The Petal Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hattiesburg Downtown Association are working together with many private and public entities to produce a first class 4th of July experience for all attendees.
The Y will be having a JUMP ZONE on the Petal side of the River starting from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. Set up will be two hours before.
We are looking for volunteers to help monitor bounce houses & slides and also possibly help sell wristbands.
