Volunteers needed to handwrite letters to senior citizens in assisted living facilities and care home! Letters Against Isolation fights senior loneliness one letter at a time. Through handwritten messages of love, hope, and joy, volunteers bring seniors connection and improves their mental and physical health.
Volunteers mail friendly handwritten letters to seniors in designated aged care facilities in Mississippi, across the US and around the world. Each message should be personal and one-of-a-kind with a greeting (“Hello, Friend!”), a bit about yourself, a thoughtful question, kind wishes, and your first name signed at the end. Avoid sensitive topics such as religion, holidays and negative feelings.
