Setup:
Volunteer will arrive at approximately 7am for setup.
-Putting out items that will be given away, in an organized fashion.
8am until event completion:
-Continue to help put out any other items that made be added for giveaway as well as assist with keep the donation areas free of trash and empty storage items.
-Condensing any like items into similar area or same boxes; making it easier for breakdown shall the items not be selected to leave.
-Assist community members with getting their selection to their vehicles. (buggy/carts available if needed).
-Assist with bagging claimed items, items are usually on a tarp, if a person is claiming a large item, permit them to take it off the tarp and put it near the concrete bench, they must load the item within 20mins (this is whether they are continue to search or going to pull the vehicle closer to get it loaded). Because all items are free, they are first come, first serve so they must be claimed and kept up with. We are not responsible if someone grab an unattended item that appear to be unclaimed.
Breakdown: (beginning around 12 noon)
-began to fully put up any empty storage or setup bins that are free of any donation items. Pack up all final items not selected.
Bonus: Volunteers are welcome to shop, any items you wish to claim is recommended to be taken to your vehicle right away as it is subject to reclaim by community members if left in the donation zone.
(event ends soon as crowd thins to no visitors on site, all items are claimed, and or left overs are packed up for cleanup-whichever comes first.-will not exceed the time listed, you will get full credit if it ends sooner than 3pm, if arrived by 8:30am)
