Volunteer to usher for Christone "Kingfish" Ingram: The Hard Road Tour at the historic Hattiesburg Saenger Theater!
USHER DUTIES:
- Follow theater guidelines
- Learn theater layout (seats, bathrooms, emergency exits, bars, box office, etc.)
- General knowledge of show (runtimes, intermission, subject matter, etc.)
- Greet patrons
- Pass out programs
- Guide patrons to the correct row and seat number
- Direct bathroom lines
- Enforce and demonstrate theater etiquette
- Ensure positive patron experience
- Enforce policies (photos, videos, food, late seating etc.)
- Respect patrons, staff, and fellow ushers
- Follow and respect usher program guideline set by management
USHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Commit to a minimum of 6 shows
- Attend orientation
- Be able to work all levels of the theater
- Have access to the and the capability to use a computer or smartphone to register for events online
- Have a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
- Follow usher dress code
- Black shirt
- Black dress pants
