How Bike MS Works
Bike MS is the largest fundraising cycling series in the world. Each year, nearly 75,000 cyclists and more than 6,000 teams ride together to change the world for people with MS.
Each ride in the Bike MS series has a unique local flavor while maintaining a consistently well-organized, supportive and extraordinary experience. Whether you’re a casual, novice or experienced cyclist, you’ll feel right at home at Bike MS.
Volunteers Power Bike MS
From planning event details and stuffing packets to providing safety and support for cyclists on ride day, Bike MS® would not be possible without volunteers.
Everyone Can Volunteer
Families, corporate groups, and individuals of all ages and abilities are welcome to volunteer. We are always looking for youth clubs, corporate and service-oriented community groups to lend a hand before, during and after our events. Whether you’re living with MS and just want to say thank you at the Finish Line or you’re ready to captain a rest stop, there’s a place for you at Bike MS!
When you volunteer, you become part of the MS movement – a community of passionate individuals working together to create a world free of MS. Together we provide support, have fun and make a difference for the nearly 1 million people living with MS in the United States.
Some volunteer positions require specialized skills, a criminal and/or DMV background check and some may involve driving or heavy lifting. Contact us for more details.

Below you can find the 3 easy steps to help get you signed up.
Step 1: Create your Volunteer Profile
- You may already have an account with us, if so, just reset your password to login!
- Instructions to reset your password found here.
- If you don’t already have an account with us, please create one before continuing.
Step 2: Join the appropriate volunteer User Group
Joining the proper user group ensures that you see the most relevant local opportunities including Dat’s How We Roll!
For skilled volunteer teams, please join the corresponding user group below:
- Communications/HAM Team User Group
- Motorcycle Marshal User Group
- Ride Marshal User Group
- SAG Driver User Group
- SAG Navigator User Group
For all other roles and general volunteer opportunities (ex. rest stops, start lines, finish lines, etc.), join our Alabama-Louisiana-Mississippi User Group here.
- As a skilled volunteer, if you still want to be able to see the general opportunities, you are more than welcome to join this user group as well.

- Use this link to view and sign up for this year’s volunteer shifts. You will only be able to view them after you have signed up for the corresponding user group.
