The Arc is asking for volunteers to adopt an adult with disabilities for Christmas and stuff a stocking for them. The Arc will provide volunteers with a list of interested items for each adult adopted. The list will include small inexpensive items of interest for the adults, such items that can be purchased from Dollar Tree (i.e. Dollar Tree gift cards, puzzles, word search books, candy, etc.).
The stockings can be delivered to The Arc friends at the Christmas Celebration on December 17th. Volunteers can meet their adopted adult and present them with their Christmas stocking. There will be light refreshments and Christmas caroling. The Christmas Celebration will be at The Arc, located at 65 Bonhomie Road, in Hattiesburg.
