Who We Are
HomeCare Hospice helps provide care for individuals facing an end-of-life illness. We focus on the comfort and needs of the patient and the patient's family. The goal is to allow the individual to live life as fully and comfortable as possible. Our team provides support through pain management, physical comfort, care education, emotional support, spiritual support, and logistical support.
What We Do
Our hospice volunteers are the heart of HomeCare Hospice. In addition to the joy of serving others, you will be in a position to make a lasting and meaningful contribution to your fellow community members.
The primary role of our volunteers is to offer compassion and emotional support for patients and their families through friendship and companionship.
Some of the opportunities available for our trained hospice volunteers include:
Visits to our patients and their families, Reading literature, writing meaningful letters/cards, assisting with fun events at facilities, etc.
