USM Office of Sustainability

The Office of Sustainability manages sustainable operations on the USM campus and oversees several campus programs related to sustainability. Leslee Potvin is the manager of sustainable operations and Melissa Covington-Olsen is the sustainability coordinator. 

There are so many ways to get involved with the office: 

Campus Clean-Up- We can work with you or your organization to arrange a date/time to pick up litter around campus. You can choose to make these events open only to select people or you can open them up to the public. 

Special Events/Activities - From Move-Out Madness to Seymour's Career Closet to Recycling Olympics, there is always a need for volunteers. "Follow" them to get notified of when new opportunities become available!

Eco-Ambassador: Members of Eco-Ambassadors promote a community that supports the social, economic, and environmental tenets of sustainability.
