Neighbors at Hawkins exists to support the students and teachers of Hawkins Elementary school in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The program assists in providing quality education, building student self-esteem, and expanding the personal vision of students for themselves, their community and their world. With the dedicated Neighbors at Hawkins staff, and consistent support from community volunteers, the students of Hawkins Elementary are thriving.

DAILY TUTORING and MENTORING Invest in the life of one child. Mentors are asked to come have lunch at Hawkins with a student twice a month. It's a commitment, but the benefits are priceless! A relationship with you could open their world to countless possibilities! TEACHER'S P.E.T. Partner with a teacher through Prayer, Encouragement and Time! Build a personal relationship with one teacher by serving in their classroom, praying for their students and encouraging them!
