RISE

RISE is a faith based 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to Educate, Empower, and Encourage men and women to RISE to self-sufficiency. We typically have 8 weeks of free classes to participants in our program followed by a graduation and 9 months of mentorship. We have had several come through our program who need additional resources and we network with all the other non-profits in the area to meet those needs. Our program is about helping the WHOLE individual to reach their full potential and get whatever help they need to become confident in their own self-reliance. 

We offer classes such as financial management, parenting skills, conflict resolution, boundaries, goalsetting, computer classes, virtual job training exploration and so many others to help set up a better future for our students. Our biggest fundraiser of the year is the RISE Hattiesburg Hot Air Balloon Festival in August and we will need many volunteers for that opportunity!
