Volunteer: Boots on the Grounds Ambassadors

Ambassadors must be able to communicate, get alone with others, drama and gossip free, loving, and a pleasant attitude. They may be asked to connect with donors, members, sponsors, volunteers, partners, clients, and others. Ambassadors must be accountable and dependable, have a willingness to boost our organization, mission, membership, and brand. Transportation is a plus but not required.

Volunteer: Marketing and Social Media Interns

Seeking individuals and/or students (marketing, social media, and communication majors) who are looking to gain experience in their field of study. This internship can be tailored to the individuals availability. Also may be performed remotely with proper log and documentation for final reference and hours approval. 

Intern will be responsible:

Informing community members of resources available through The G.A.P. Pantry. Distributing flyers and brochures. Post upcoming events facilitated by The G.A.P Pantry. Sharing needs for clients and resources available to potential clients Attending networking events.  Monitoring social media accounts. Creating engaging content for social media accounts.

Volunteer: Boots on the Ground by Project G.A.P. Resource Pop-Up Host/Hostess

Resource Pop-Ups are held once per month, either on the third or fourth Saturday. Host/Hostess will assist vendors to their assigned space or table, setup, breakdown, and as needed. If the event has games, activities, and prizes the host or hostess will assist with them. Host/Hostess maybe ask to assist at our event table (sign in and out, distributing happies, taking orders or passing out orders). Host/ Hostess should be able to bend, stand, lift, sit, push, or scoot up to 30 lbs. Host/Hostess will collect donations, stock, and organize.   

 Boots on the Ground by Project G.A.P serves 42 counties and will host Pop-Up events. Host/Hostess maybe asked to travel (THIS IS OPTIONAL). If under 18, parent's written permission must be given prior to the event.  Event last for 4-5 hours plus travelling.
