Make a difference in someone's life!
Join our dedicated team in bringing peace, comfort, and joy to those with a terminal illness.
Volunteers are vital members of our team whether they are helping from a distance or up close and personal.
Administrative Volunteer - Help with clerical functions and organizational activities to support our caregiving team. [EXAMPLES: Answer telephones, file, data entry, assist with patient/family mailings]
Direct Patient Service Volunteer - Provide help and companionship to patients and respite for their caregivers. [EXAMPLES: Visit with patient/family, provide relief to caregiver, read aloud to patient, assist with housekeeping, play cards/games, help with yard work, shop, run errands, walk a dog]
Specialty Programs - Offer unique services to patients, their caregivers and the community to expand the scope of our care and meet individual needs. [EXAMPLES: Pet Companionship, Tuck-In-Team, Veteran to Veteran, Community Events]
However our volunteers choose to help, we work around their schedule.
Training is completed online. It's easy, informative, and designed to give volunteers the tools needed to be confident and comfortable with patients
