Volunteers are needed on March 22 in order to help with the MSO annual competition that brings junior high and high school students to USM. You do not have to be a science major or be getting a science endorsement—volunteers are needed for numerous jobs, such as showing students where to go, selling t-shirts, grading papers, and setting up events. Help is needed from 6:30 am until 6:30 pm, so you can help out in between classes.
Volunteering for events like the MSO look great on your résumé, can help you earn service learning credits, and you’ll probably have fun while you’re there!
If you are interested in helping, please go to the MSO website to fill out an online form:

Sign up as soon as possible, but no later than March 1. You will be contacted about when and where your help is needed. Volunteers will be contacted with placements by March 15.
