The 9th Annual “Dog Days Run or Walk” on June 8 at Kamper Park benefits Hub City Service Dogs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to training service dogs for adults and children with medical disabilities. Help set up doorprizes, the finish and start line, hand out race packets, or work a water station!
Race Morning Set Up (16 years or older)
5:00 am CDT - 7:30 am
Start Line Set Up
6:45 am - 7:40 am CDT
You will be responsible for making sure runners and walkers line up in the correct corral, all dogs have a leash, and the race starts safely.
Race Course Volunteer
7:15 am CDT - 9:30 am CDT (At least 39 more needed)
Volunteers will direct runners/walkers along the race course and help with traffic control when necessary.
Work Water Station on Race Route
7:15 am CDT - 9:30 am CDT (At least 11 more needed)
Set up station with cups and pour water prior to race start
Hand out water to participants during race
Make sure all trash is picked up and items packed up after race ends
Finish Line Set Up
7:15 am CDT - 9:30 am CDT
Assignment will be given ahead of race day - please make sure you are able to lift things
Set Up Doorprize Tent
