We are excited to have been invited to serve as “Lunch Buddies” at NR Burger Middle School! Volunteers should commit to going once every Wednesday between March 29 and April 26 to NR Burger during lunch time (11-12:20). It takes about 10 minutes to get there and you wouldn’t need to be there the whole time if you couldn’t.
The school would like us to sit with the kids during lunch and talk to them about our experiences in college: majors, career interests, future plans, pathways to college, and also the importance of staying motivated, setting goals, and having a good work ethic.
