This is the 10th Annual Community fundraiser within Festival South, benefiting the training programs at Hub City Service Dogs. HCSD provides task-trained service dogs to individuals with medical disabilities.
Over 500 participants will have the option to Run or Walk the 2-mile, 5k, or 5-mile courses through the Avenues of Hattiesburg and Kamper Park community, with or without dogs. They are encouraged to dress up their dogs for a run-by dog pageant, to be judged by the "celebrity" judges.
Volunteers need to arrive around 6:00 a.m. and will conclude around 11:00 a.m. Their specific assignments will be provided to them via email prior to the event. Volunteers can contact Pam Castle with any questions at pcastle@bellsouth.net or 601-270-4064.
