Southern Miss Big Event

The Big Event is one of Southern Miss’s great traditions! All members of the Golden Eagle family-- students, faculty, and staff gather together to show their appreciation for the university and their love for the Pinebelt community through service. Every year the Big Event is planned by a team of students from the Student Government Association (SGA) with support from campus staff. This team leads the call to action and rallies their fellow Eagles to join the fun, grab a trash bag, pick up a rake, and think BIG! This year will be no exception!
